feel that you are done

Come up with a question that you can answer with an investigation.

Do some background research on topics related to your question.

Decide on a method for how you will investigate your question. Will it

be an experiment, a systematic observation, or a data exploration?

Figure out what materials you will need for your investigation and

how you will get a hold of these materials.

Develop your hypothesis. This is a statement or prediction that can

either be supported or rejected by the results of your investigation.

Identify your Independent, Dependent, and Controlled variables.

Decide how you will measure your dependent variable and make a

data recording sheet if necessary.

Start and run your investigation, collecting your data, and making

observations.

Analyze and organize your results into tables, charts, and/or graphs.

Get feedback from peers and give feedback on their projects.

Write up your investigation as a report to be presented and shared.
